Visual Identity and posters for the circus show Laisse-moi.
The French collective of performing artists Collectif Primavez asked me to design posters containing all the important information about the show.
First I decided to create a bold vertical layout to simulate the feeling that you have when looking at the show. Empty spaces with clear perpendicular lines (like the allegory of the trees on the cover).
The typography of the title Laisse-moi is cutted and displaced as the story of rupture that takes place in the show between the two protagonists, who go up and down looking for their place.
Some graphic elements like doodles fly through some pages simulating the strains and reliefs that float on stage.
The somber and somewhat sad tone with the muted monochrome of the images and the cold blue, reflect the melancholic atmosphere of this cathartic and visceral show.
